Police investigating homicide in Surrey

On November 17, 2024 at approximately 9:52 pm., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a physical altercation between two large groups of men, outside of a business in the area of 102 Avenue and City Parkway in Surrey. The parties had fled the area prior to officers arriving on scene.

A short time later, Surrey RCMP were called to a report of an injured man area near 67b Avenue and 146 Street. Despite live-saving efforts by BC Emergency Health Services and Surrey Fire Service, the man succumbed to his injuries.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called and will be working the investigation in partnership with Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit.
