Police seeking assistance in identifying fraud suspect

West Shore RCMP is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect in an ongoing fraud investigation. The fraud took place in December 2024, when a victim’s credit card information was fraudulently obtained via a phone call in which a caller posed as an employee from the victim’s bank.

The suspect in the photo below is alleged to have fraudulently purchased thousands of dollars worth of merchandise with the credit card information.

Police have followed up on many leads in this investigation but have not been able to identify this suspect. 

If you know who this could be, or have any information regarding this crime, please call the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. You can also report anonymously via Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
