For the past few years West Shore RCMP Officers and Municipal Staff have come together to donate holiday hampers to families in need.
This year our staff purchased and donated approximately $2500 worth of food that was distributed into 17 holiday hampers. These hampers were delivered to families experiencing food insecurity in the West Shore.
Video opens, Jingle bell holiday music is playing. A holiday hamper is seen with 3 municipal employees smiling and waving.

It’s no secret that the average grocery bill has gone up this year. The need for healthy nutritious food is high and we enjoyed putting these hampers together for our community members, said Cst. Cole Brewer, West Shore RCMP Indigenous Policing Unit.
