BC Prosecution Services has approved additional charges in the investigation that claimed one person’s life and severely injured another. Original release 2025-01-25
Nolan Douglas Schmidt, 23, has been charged with aggravated assault and discharge a firearm with intent in relation to the shooting incident at the Mile Zero Apartment Hotel in Dawson Creek on January 19, 2025. He remains in custody relating to both incidents pending his next court appearance on February 25, 2025.
