Arrest made after reports of multiple thefts

The Prince Rupert RCMP has made an arrest in connection to a string of thefts and reported suspicious person reports.

Cameron Geoffrey White, 23-years-old, has been arrested after the RCMP had received multiple complaints regarding suspicious behaviour as well as a theft from a business during the first week of the year. 

Due to Cameron's significant history in property crime he was held to be seen before a judge and was remanded in custody for a subsequent court date. 

"The RCMP was very aware of Cameron's activities throughout the first week of January," Media Relations Officer Constable Brody Hemrich said, "calls made to the detachment as well as public outcry on social media did not go unheard. Multiple front line police officers combined their efforts to ensure that Cameron was held in custody."

White is facing charges for the following:
