Injuries reported following a rupture in pipeline

On Monday, April 14, 2025 shortly before 7:00 pm, Fort St John RCMP were notified of a possible explosion at a pipeline north west of the city.

The investigation is in the very early stages and WorkSafeBC has been called and is investigating alongside the RCMP. While causal factors have yet to be determined, there is no evidence to suggest that there is any criminality involved.

No further details are available at this time. More information may be released as it becomes available.
