Around 5:15 pm, an empty school bus was turning from Keystone Avenue onto Hayward Street, when it was struck by a black pickup truck that was driving northbound on Hayward Street. No injuries were reported.

An hour later, a three-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Cedar Street and Egglestone Avenue. A witness reported that a black Dodge Dart driving north on Cedar Street went through a red light at the intersection, colliding with a grey Mazda that was driving west on Egglestone Avenue. Both vehicles then crashed into a pickup truck stopped at the red light. Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported.

Mission RCMP wants to remind the public to slow down and drive safely at all times of year. Some drivers have a tendency to drive with extra vim and vigor when the sun comes out.  Even though road conditions may be good, speed can quickly bring a dark cloud to your sunny-day drive. Please slow down and enjoy the journey.
