Around 3:20 am on Saturday January 20, a break-in occurred at a residence on 9th Avenue, east of Dunsmuir Street in Mission. Fortunately, no one was home at the time.
Officers arrived to find that the back door of the house had been broken, and the whole house had been rummaged through. A safe containing multiple firearms was taken, as was the home owner’s white 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup. The truck had several unique features, including black rims, white lights on the roof, and a camper tie-down bar under the rear bumper.

Anyone who has seen this truck in the past few days or has any information about this crime is asked to call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161, file #24-686. Police do not believe that this is related to the other recent break and enter where firearms were stolen on Cottonwood Street, as that suspect was still in custody when the residence on 9th Avenue was broken into.
