Police investigating business structure fire

On Sunday December 29, 2024, at approximately 6:30 am, Coquitlam RCMP and Coquitlam Fire and Rescue attended a business complex in the 300 block of North Road, Coquitlam, for a reported structure fire. There are no known injuries nor victims identified at this time.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Coquitlam RCMP and Coquitlam Fire and Rescue.

Surrounding roadways are currently open, however the complex is closed to the public pending further investigation.

Police are asking any witnesses or persons with information about the cause of the fire, which occurred shortly before 6:30 am on Sunday December 29, 2024, to contact the Coquitlam RCMP, said Media Relations Officer, Constable John Graham.

Anyone who has any information about, or who may have witnessed this incident, as well as those with video footage including surveillance, dash cam or cell-phone video are asked to contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550, and quote file number 2024-34159.
