Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying an alleged arson suspect in an incident that occurred earlier this month.
On June 8, 2024, at approximately 4:40 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP frontline members received and responded to a report of a wooden patio engulfed in flames at a local business in the 11900 block of 224 Street of Maple Ridge. Maple Ridge Fire Department (MRFD) also attended and extinguished the fire.
Hey Ridge Meadows, do you recognize this person?" [clip or surveillance video]"I’m Constable Tisha Parsons with the Ridge Meadows RCMP and we need your help to identify an alleged arson suspect. On June 8, 2024, at 4:40 a.m., we responded to a patio fire at a local restaurant in the 11900 block of 224 Street."[clip of patio fire]"There was no suspect on scene.We reviewed video surveillance and identified a potential suspect.
