On March 7, West Shore RCMP published a media release regarding a stolen 26-foot trailer which has now been recovered by police. Police also recovered the stolen suspect vehicle that was seen towing the trailer away.
West Shore RCMP are still investigating the theft that took place on March 4, at approximately 3:15 a.m., when the large 26 ft enclosed trailer was stolen. The trailer was parked outside an industrial retail building in the 2600 block of Millstream Rd.
On March 8, the stolen trailer was recovered in Shawinigan Lake by Shawinigan Lake RCMP and a few days later on March 11, the suspect vehicle, which was also determined to be stolen out of Victoria, was recovered in Duncan by North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
Police are still investigating this theft and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspect(s) who were involved in this crime.
Police have collected video surveillance showing the stolen vehicle towing away the stolen trailer.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) involved in the theft of the trailer and/or truck. If you were driving in the area of Millstream Rd on March 4 between the hours of 2:45 – 4:00 a.m. and have in car video please review it in case you have captured the suspect(s) on video.
