Two vehicle collision on Barkerville Highway

Quesnel RCMP responded to a collision between a logging truck and a pickup truck.

On October 30, 2024 at approximately 7:34 a.m., the Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the Barkerville Highway near Fanslau Road involving a pickup truck a logging truck. The driver of the pickup truck has been taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the logging truck was uninjured.

"The road was closed for a short time while emergency crews extracted the driver from the vehicle, but it is now re-opened," says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch
