Maple Ridge, B.C – The Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating an arson that occurred on January 29, 2025 in the 21100 block of 123rd Ave, Maple Ridge.
The Maple Ridge Fire Department responded to a playground structure fire on January 29, 2025, at approximately 7:53 pm.
The playground structure sustained significant damage, with repairs expected to be approximately $70,000.
The Ridge Meadows RCMP were notified and started investigating. CCTV was located which shows three people exit a black two door vehicle with a sunroof.

Police are looking to identify this vehicle, as well as the three occupants.
Police are seeking witnesses, dashcam video and video surveillance from within the area from January 29, 2025 between the hours of 7:00 pm- 8:15 pm.
Police have already conducted extensive video canvassing in the area. In the event that we have not spoken to you and you have video surveillance that may be useful please contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP directly at 604-463-6251 and refer to file RM2025-1911.
