File # 2025-12860

In April 2025, members of the Langley RCMP’s Special Response Team (SRT) launched a drug-trafficking investigation.

On May 7, 2025, with support from the Lower Mainland District Integrated Emergency Response Team (LMD-IERT), officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 5300-block of 199 Street in Langley. The search led to the seizure of eight loaded firearms (including both long guns and handguns), four imitation firearms, a significant quantity of ammunition, body armour and various substances believed to be illicit drugs.

As part of the investigation, three individuals were arrested: a 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old man, both from Langley, and a 34-year-old woman from Maple Ridge. All three have been released pending further investigation and are expected to appear in court at a later date.

This investigation highlights our ongoing commitment to disrupting organized crime and removing illegal firearms and drugs from our community, said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. By dismantling operations like this, we are taking meaningful steps to prevent violence that are often linked to the drug trade.
