RCMP looking for witnesses

Sunshine Coast

On October 28th, 2024 at approximately 2:15 p.m.,  a Sunshine Coast resident witnessed an unknown male slash a vehicles tire in the parking lot at Trail Bay Mall at Teredo and Trail Avenue in Sechelt.  The suspect fled the area on foot toward the waterfront.

The vehicle was a black Dodge Caravan parked in front of the RX Drug Mart.  The suspect male is described as 40-50 years old, thin build, 5'10", grey hair and wearing a plaid blue/grey lumberman jacket, dark pants and walked with a limp. If anyone witnessed this incident who has not already spoken with police, please contact the Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266.
