On October 9 at approximately 3:40 a.m., the West Shore RCMP responded to a report of multiple vehicles being vandalized near the 1000 block of Grob Court in Langford. West Shore RCMP frontline officers attended the scene and determined 9 vehicles sustained various levels of damage.

Police arrived on scene within minutes of the call and set up containment and searched the area extensively however, the suspects were not located. The West Shore RCMP spoke to several witnesses in the area.

A witness in the area described hearing loud banging and stepped outside their home to see what was taking place. The witness observed 2-4 males get into two separate vehicles and proceed to drive away. One of the suspects sprayed a witness with what police believe was Bear Spray as they were driving past.

We continue our investigation and are asking the residents in the area to check their home surveillance cameras for the time period of October 9, between 2:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m. If you think you have captured the suspects on camera please call the police at 250-474-2264 to report your information, said Cpl. Nancy Saggar, West Shore RCMP Media Relations Officer.

Suspect Descriptions:

West Shore RCMP would like to remind the public to please call police right away if you see suspicious activity, do not attempt to approach the suspects as this could be dangerous.
