At approximately 9:26 p.m., RCMP received a report from a concerned parent after their children stated they’d been approached and followed by an unknown man wearing a black hoodie.
Further patrols by the parent in the area revealed a white Dodge parked near the bandshell, believed to have been associated. Later that night, the same vehicle was again observed with a male occupant.
Barriere RCMP are continuing to investigate and are asking the public for information.
If you were in or around Fadear Park on the evening of April 18, and observed anything suspicious, or, if you have surveillance or dash camera footage that may be relevant, please contact the Barriere RCMP.
