File # 2024-604

Last week, Mission RCMP requested the public’s assistance in identifying a man that broke into a home on Cottonwood Street on January 17. The man reportedly stole firearms, jewelry and other items, and rammed a police car to get away.  After multiple tips from the public and other police agencies, investigators arrested the man and took him into custody without incident.

Paul Fontaine, 57 years old, of Coquitlam, has now been charged with numerous offences, including break and enter, flight from police, and dangerous driving.

Mission RCMP thank everyone who helped in the efforts to identify and locate this person.
