Human remains found have been identified

Dawson Creek

The Dawson Creek RCMP can now confirm that the human remains found along the Kiskatinaw River have been positively identified by the BC Coroners Service as Renee Didier. The remains were discovered on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Renee was last seen on December 2, 2023 and reported missing on December 7, 2023. Original release 2023-12-08.

BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation and are asking the public for any information that may help further the investigation.
