File # 2025-559

Quesnel RCMP executed a search warrant in relation to a manufacturing firearms investigation.

On January 30, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the Quesnel Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Avison Avenue. Police seized 9 firearms, multiple firearm parts, 150 cartons of contraband cigarettes, 60 grams of methamphetamine, one ounce of cocaine, seven grams of crack cocaine, 2 3D printers and approximately $4800.00 in cash.

Due to the good work done by the Crime Reduction Unit, several firearms have been removed from the streets, said Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.

A 35-year-old man was arrested and has since been released pending further investigation. Once complete, the results of the investigation will be sent to the BC Prosecutor's Office for assessment of appropriate charges.
