On 10 February 2024 at approximately 12:00 AM a member of the public phoned Nelson RCMP to report a vehicle that was on fire in the bush on Reibin Road near Highway 3A and 6 in Taghum BC. Fire crews arrived on scene and sucessfully put the fire out. Nelson RCMP identified the owner of the severely damaged Hyundai Kona and attended the owners residence. The owner of the Hyundai Kona stated she left the vehicle at the noted location overnight and went to a party with a friend. Nelson RCMP is requesting the publics assistance in determining whether anybody has information regarding this fire or if there are any witnesses who observed what happened. If anybody has information please contact the Nelson RCMP and request to speak to Constable Young.
