Langley RCMP investigate shots fired in Willoughby - no injuries

Langley RCMP is currently on scene in the Willoughby area of Langley for a report of shots being fired.

At approximately 6:45 a.m. on February 23, 2024, Langley RCMP responded to a report of shots fired at a residence in the 21000 block of 77 Avenue. Frontline officers attended the scene and located evidence consistent with a shooting. No injuries were reported.

Officers remain in the area conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages and Police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting.

Anyone with more information, including dash cam footage around the area of 210 Street and 77 Avenue between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., is asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file 24-5717.
