Male suffers serious injuries after being struck by vehicle in Chilliwack

On February 3, 2024, the Chilliwack RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle on the corner of Luckakuck Way and Topaz Drive. The male pedestrian was located with serious injuries and transported to hospital where he remains. The intersection was closed for several hours on February 3, 2024 while police conducted their investigation.

Chilliwack RCMP frontline officers have taken conduct of the file with support from the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services to determine if criminality was a factor. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police.
