Police Week in Richmond: Mountie-style community events

Richmond RCMP invites the public to join in celebrating Police Week 2025 as we celebrate 75 years of serving the Richmond community. Throughout May, residents will have the chance to meet officers in Red Serge at local events; an opportunity to connect, learn, and snap a photo with local RCMP.

Police Week highlights

• Mocha with a Mountie: Join us Monday, May 12, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Tim Hortons, 9731 Bridgeport Road. Enjoy your favourite beverage while chatting with your local RCMP officers.
• Meet Your Mounties: Visit the Minoru Centre for Active Living, 7191 Granville Avenue, on Wednesday, May 14, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to meet your local RCMP officers.
• Safety Fair: Bring the whole family to the Safety Fair on Saturday, May 17, at Aberdeen Centre, 4151 Hazelbridge Way, between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Activities for all ages will promote safety, community awareness, and fun.
