Police seeking robbery suspect

Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating a suspect involved in a recent robbery, during which an item of sentimental value was stolen.

On March 7, 2024, at approximately 9:25 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP received and responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle in a driveway in the 12200 block of Fletcher Street in Maple Ridge. Items stolen include a loved one’s ashes, mail, clothes, perfume and a water bottle.

Police are urging the suspect to return all items, especially the ashes as they are of high sentimental value.

The suspect is described as a female wearing black leggings and a Nike athletic jacket.
