Quesnel

2023-08-15 12:29 PDT

On Saturday, August 12, 2023, Quesnel RCMP hosted the 2023 RCMP Kids Camp after a 4-year hiatus due to wildfires and covid.

This year, 37 children, aged 6-12 attended and under the guidance of a Troop Commander they learned all about drill, fingerprinting, handcuffing, target practice (nerf guns), radar guns, police cars and so much more.

They participated in an obstacle course and tug-o-war where they combined forces to beat all the RCMP Members in attendance.

A special thank you to Quesnel RCMP Troop Commanders, support staff from Quesnel Detachment and the City of Quesnel. Without your support and participation, this event would not have been the success it was.
