File # 2024-41544
On December 22, 2024, the Langley RCMP began investigating a break and enter to a residence that occurred in the 26500 block of 28A Avenue.
It was reported that the suspects entered the residence in the early hours of the morning and stole several wrapped presents that were placed under the family’s Christmas tree.
The story of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas had tragically become a reality for this family, therefore we employed several investigative techniques which enabled us to track the thieves down. The tireless efforts of our front-line officers resulted in the recovery of the stolen presents. We rewrapped the presents and returned them to the family to restore the joy of the holiday season, says Corporal Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.
