Rinsma remains in custody after new charges sworn

The following additional charges have been sworn in the investigation which led to the arrest of Nathan Rinsma: 

The investigation which began on the morning of August 31, 2024, after a report of a serious assault involving two victims, led to two search warrants being sought for residences in Thornhill or Usk (Original Release 2024-08-31). These search warrants resulted in the seizure of cash, ammunition, weapons, illicit drugs, and firearms.

Rinsma remains in custody at this time with the next court appearance scheduled for October 4th.

This investigation is ongoing and Terrace RCMP ask that anyone with any information about the offences contact the Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400.
