Coquitlam RCMP is inviting the public to attend Seniors Safe-Tea Talk at the Poirier Community Centre on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
This event will cover a variety of topics including; how to avoid fraud, recognizing scams and elder abuse. The material is directed towards seniors and their care givers.
We are inviting the public, particularly seniors and their care givers to attend our Seniors Safe Tea, said Coquitlam RCMP Media Relations Officer, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. Attendees will learn how to avoid fraud, recognize scams, and protect yourself from elder abuse. You will also learn what to do if you are a victim of fraud or abuse.
