On November 28, 2024, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of several incidents over the past week involving students at the Energetic Learning Campus in Fort St John. The incidents appear to involve a small group of students being targeted by another group. Fort St John RCMP frontline members attended the Energetic Learning Campus and initiated an investigation, speaking with victims and staff.
The investigation is currently in the very early stages, said Constable Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations officer for the Fort St John RCMP. The investigation will look to determine the motivation and intent behind these incidents and will dictate the direction the file takes.

No one has been physically injured however resources are available for anyone affected.
The Fort St John RCMP will continue to work with school leadership and the BC Prosecution Service throughout this investigation.
