Update: Prince George RCMP non-emergency phone lines down

This is to advise that the phone lines to the Prince George RCMP Detachment are now up and running

Thank you to the public for their patience during this time.

Background:

Prince George RCMP Detachment is currently experiencing issues with the detachment telephone services.

911 service is NOT impacted.

When an external person calls the Prince George RCMP Detachment non-emergency number, they will hear an automated response saying the customer is unavailable at the moment.

Instructions for the public:

In an emergency, call 911.

To report a non-emergency, you can use our Online Reporting Tool for the following incident types:

For all administrative-related calls, please refrain from calling 911 if your matter is not urgent in nature.

Once telephone service is restored, we can provide an update.

We do not have an estimated time for restoration of detachment phone line services.
