On December 20, 2023, Salt Spring Island RCMP held two "Cram the Cruiser" events. Those events took place at Thrifty Foods and Salt Spring Elementary School. Salt Spring Island RCMP officers were able to pick up a truck load of food that students had donated. The day resulted in hundreds of pounds of food and over $100 in cash which were donated to the Salt Spring Island food bank.

Special thanks to Thrifty Foods, Country Grocer, and the generous residents of Salt Spring Island for three successful Cram the Cruiser events in 2023. These donations help out many families in need throughout the year.
