Surrey RCMP seeking public assistance in ongoing investigation

Surrey RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an ongoing investigation.

On February 18, 2024, at 2:00 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded a report of a suspicious circumstance near the 13300 block of 89a Avenue after receiving a report of shots fired. Officers attended the area and made extensive patrols, but did not locate any suspicious activity.

Later that morning, at 11:30 a.m., Surrey RCMP received a report of damage to a residence in the 13300-block of 88 Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located evidence consistent with a shots fired. No injuries were reported.

The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit (GIU) took conduct of the investigation. Images of a suspect have been obtained, and after exhausting all investigative avenues, investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect.

The suspect is described as follows:
