Suspect sought after residential break and enter

Police are seeking the public assistance in identifying a suspect in a Break and Enter in Sidney, BC.

On May 26, 2025 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Sidney/North Saanich RCMP responded to a residence in the 10,000 block of Patricia Place in Sidney for a report of a Break and Enter.

Investigators from the detachment along with the RCMP Forensic Identification Section processed the scene to collect evidence, including video surveillance in which an unknown male suspect was observed breaking into the property earlier in the same afternoon. The suspect allegedly stole cash and jewelry.

The suspect is described as:

At the time of the offence the suspect was wearing a white t-shirt with a logo on the back, painter’s pants with paint on them, white and black shoes and wearing a tan ballcap. The suspect left the residence with a dark coloured backpack.
