Northern Rockies

2024-10-01 16:04 PDT

File # 2024-2363

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:45 pm, Northern Rockies RCMP received a report of shots fired in the area of the Willow Road and Cottonwood Road intersection.

Police immediately attended and learned from multiple witnesses that, moments before hearing the gun shots, a dark blue ATV, was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. During the course of the investigation, police saw that a residence on Cottonwood Road had sustained damage from possible bullet holes. At this time, there have been no reports of anyone having been injured as a result.

This investigation is a priority and is ongoing. Police believe that these recent events are targeted and look to the public to help further the investigation.

If you have any information, or were in the area at the time, and may have any dash cam footage or security camera footage, you are asked to contact the Northern Rockies RCMP at (250) 774-2700.
