Fatal motorcycle collision

Creston

2024-07-29 10:32 PDT

File # 2024-2370

On Saturday, July 27, 2024, Creston RCMP responded to a single motorcycle collision on Highway 3A at Twin Bays, BC.

Upon arrival, a 71-year-old male driver of a motorcycle was being treated for injuries sustained. Evidence at the scene suggested the driver, who was travelling alone and south on Highway 3A, failed to navigate a corner. This resulted in his motorcycle travelling left off the highway.

Sadly, the man succumbed to the injuries he’d sustained and was pronounced deceased at the scene, says Cpl. James Grandy, BC RCMP spokesperson.

RCMP, along with BC Highway Patrol and the BC Coroners Service, are continuing to investigate the cause.
