With only a couple days left until Halloween, the Kamloops RCMP Detachment is encouraging the community to help keep the spooky night safe.

The Kamloops RCMP Crime Prevention Unit is reminding neighbourhoods of a few simple safety tips to keep in mind on Tuesday, Oct. 31, while ghouls and goblins roam the streets to trick and treat.

A little planning can go a long way in helping to keep a fun night safe, said Corporal Dana Napier of the Kamloops RCMP Crime Prevention Unit.

Below are some tips to help keep the spooky safe this Halloween.

Report any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood by contacting the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000. For emergencies, call 911.
