RCMP were called to the Wal-Mart parking lot for a report of a 56-year-old woman deceased in her vehicle.

On August 7th, 2023, at noon, Penticton RCMP were called to the Wal-Mart parking lot for a report of a 56-year-old woman deceased in her vehicle. The woman had been traveling with family from the USA. An investigation was undertaken, which included statements from her family who were also present. The death was not deemed suspicious. The BC Coroner Service was engaged. No further information will be released.
