Pedestrian struck during early morning traffic

Surrey RCMP is continuing investigation of a pedestrian struck during early morning traffic, near Scott Road and Nordel Way.

On January 29, 2024 at 6:19 am, Surrey RCMP were called to a report of a man who had been struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Scott Road and Nordel Way. The man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries, and the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and has been cooperative with Police.

Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) has taken conduct of the investigation as road closures are affecting all north bound traffic on Nordel Way, which is being diverted at 86 Avenue. Motorists are asked to avoid this area and take alternate routes.

Anyone with more information, including dash camera footage near Scott Road and Nordel Way around the time of this incident, is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2024-13597
