Sunshine Coast RCMP respond to a vehicle arson

The Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating a report of a vehicle arson that occurred on March 30th at 2:04 am. Police responded to the 5500 block of Wharf Ave, Sechelt to a male spraying an unknown substance on a white Mercedes-Benz sprinter van before starting a fire. Sechelt Fire attended and put the fire out while police made patrols looking for an individual wearing a light blue hoody and dark pants.

Police are asking the public if there are any witnesses or video that would have captured anyone walking in that area, who has not already spoken with police, are asked to call the RCMP at 604-885-2266, file 2025-2161 relates.
