West Shore
2024-11-26 12:50 PST
With the holiday season arriving, you have probably been busy shopping for the perfect gift in stores and online. Keep your gifts safe by securing them inside your home as soon as possible.
Around the holiday season West Shore RCMP typically receives more complaints of theft from motor vehicles. Sure enough, in November (2024), we have received 17 reports of theft from parked vehicles as compared to 13 reports of the same nature in October.
West Shore RCMP want to remind you to bring your deliveries and merchandise inside as soon as you get home. Don’t leave packages in your car or front porch. If possible, schedule deliveries for when you are home to receive them and store items in your trunk when you're out shopping.
