The Merritt RCMP are looking to identify the owner of a found log splitter.

On October 7, 2024, Merritt Front Line Officers located an abandoned yellow Champion 9 ton log splitter in the downtown area of the City of Merritt. To date the log splitter has not been reported lost or stolen. Police are looking to return it to it's rightful owner.

If you are the owner of the log splitter or know who the owner is, please contact Constable Joey Piattelli with the Merritt RCMP at 250-378-4262. You will be required to provide proof of ownership.
