Prince George

2024-11-29 07:24 PST

File # 2024-24907

Throughout the month of November, Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit executed three Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants in support of an ongoing investigation.

The search warrants were executed at residences on the 6000-block of Simon Fraser Avenue, the 13000-block of Coach Road and the 1800-block of Sinclair Road. Three people were arrested in association with the investigation, and were subsequently released pending charge approval by the Public Prosecution Service of Canada. Investigators believe those arrested have criminal ties to Alberta.

These enforcement actions were taken as a result of our commitment to enhancing public safety by targeting those people involved in bringing weapons, illicit drugs and violence into our community, states Sergeant Dan Morris, Commander of the Street Crew Unit.

The investigation remains ongoing.
