Coquitlam RCMP are inviting the public to help support the 16th annual 911 We Care Toy Drive which will run until December 18, 2023. It is that time of year when we start collecting donations to make the holidays brighter for local families.

Donations from the toy drive will go to the SHARE Society to be provided to local children and families in need. The 911 We Care Toy Drive is organized by the Coquitlam RCMP Operational Communications Centre (OCC).
We would like to thank everyone who has helped the 911 We Care Toy drive over the years. This is our 16th year of fundraising and our staff continue to be very invested in supporting this initiative, said Jen Criss from Coquitlam RCMP Operational Communications Centre. This year is a tough one for all financially and we just ask if you are able to purchase a small toy for a teen or child, it would be appreciated.

We are grateful for any donation and level of generosity from the public that can help contribute to making another’s heart happier over the holidays, said Media Relations Officer, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. This toy drive would not have been possible for the last 16 years without the dedication of our OCC team which organize this event year after year.
