The Road Safety Target Team (RSTT) keeping our roads safe

Pitt Meadows B.C.- Ridge Meadows Road Safety Target Team (RSTT), in collaboration with Vancouver Transit Authority were out in full force on April 17, 2024 in the City of Pitt Meadows and issued a total of 96 Violation Tickets (VT’s).

Police were busy identifying drivers committing Motor Vehicle offences, in high-risk collision areas. Police targeted Lougheed Highway, Airport Way and the Golden Ears Bridge.

Drivers were issued Violation Tickets for observed offences which included the following:

By disregarding traffic laws, you are not only risking your own safety, but also the safety of your passengers and other drivers on the road.

This is a reminder that the Ridge Meadows RCMP is out there enforcing traffic laws. Police will see you, getting pulled over is avoidable.
