Coquitlam RCMP collected over 1,500 pounds of food and $1,505.60 in donations for the Share Society during the Cram the Cruiser events. Coquitlam RCMP thanks the community for their generosity and support to help those in need.

We are proud to be able to give back and help support our communities over the holidays. Our annual Cram the Cruiser event was a great success and we couldn’t have done it without support from the community, said Sergeant Karrie Ellis. We would like to thank everyone who donated at both our locations to support the SHARE Society.

Coquitlam RCMP officers, Community Policing Volunteers, Coquitlam Express, Port Coquitlam Trail Blazers, and the SHARE society attended grocery stores in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam on December 7, 2024 to collect donations. The event ran from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and saw hundreds of attendees donate goods and money for the SHARE Society.
The holiday season can be challenging for families, but thanks to the generous support of the Coquitlam RCMP and our community, SHARE is able to bring comfort and joy to over 2,000 Tri-Cities families through holiday hampers this year, said Claire MacLean, CEO of SHARE Family and Community Services.
