A report of an injured man yelling near Howe Road and Glenmohr Drive yesterday led to a police presence in the area.
On Nov. 27, 2024, around 1 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers attended the area in response to the report, and in doing so discovered a vehicle collision down an embankment. An injured man who was present in the area was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle, a brown Honda CR-V, was completely demolished after it appeared to have gone off the roadway and crashed through trees on its way downhill, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson. No one else was present or reported injured in the area, and the investigation into what exactly transpired is ongoing.
