The Fort St John RCMP, in partnership with Farmhouse on Main, located at 10044 100th Street, Fort St John, invite the public to come have coffee with a cop on Wednesday, April 23, from 9am to 11am.
Coffee with a Cop is an international initiative that aims to improve trust and build relationships one cup of coffee at a time. This event breaks down barriers and enhances relationships between police and community members by providing opportunity for informal one-on-one interactions to ask questions and get to know their local police.
One of the best parts of my current role is connecting with the public in a positive way, said Constable Caitlyn Rissanen, Indigenous Policing Service, Fort St John RCMP. I participated in Coffee with a Cop in my previous detachment and look forward to connecting with the community Fort St John.
