A Kamloops man has been charged following an incident involving a firearm on June 15.
Carson Anthony Mitchell, 37, appeared in a Kamloops Provincial Court on June 16, 2025 to answer to seven charges, which include;
The charges relate to an incident that occurred at a local motel on June 15. 2025, states S/Sgt. Janelle Shoihet of the Kamloops RCMP. While we cannot provide specifics given Mitchell is now before the courts, we can say that investigators believe the incident to be targeted and isolated.

Mitchell will appear in court again in mid-July.
