Remain cautious when out drinking

The Dawson Creek RCMP are advising patrons to be cautious while out partying and drinking at local bars, pubs and clubs.

The Dawson Creek RCMP received two separate reports of sexual assaults where the victims believed they were drugged and sexually assaulted after drinking at a local bar. Both instances are still under criminal investigation.

The Dawson Creek RCMP are reminding patrons to drink and party with friends, only accept drinks from bartenders, never leave your drinks unattended, look out for one another, and report any criminal or suspicious behaviour to the bar staff or police.
